7x7 Stainless Steel Cable is one of the most common, cost effective and versatile wire ropes. The 7x7 construction is of medium flexibility and is used in many of the same applications as 7x19 stainless steel cable but where a little less flexibility is needed. Minimum Break Strength=920lbs, Working Load limit=184lbs.
Warnings: Wire rope & aircraft cable should nenver be used at breaking strength.10:1 safety factor minimum is recommende for critical/overhead application.Do not use for overhead lifting without consulting a wire rope rigging professional.End fittings may not hold to 100% of strength efficiency so safety factor such as 5:1 should be divided into the assembly actual strength.
